TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown
The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It means the founder has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is not narrow.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
FIX API is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will round things out when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Now, the detail that matters. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It should be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
